Family Night at the Edge!
The fun begins at 5:30 PM this Wednesday
May 9th will be a party at the Edge!
- We will have Author and Poet, Kwame Alexander reading and sharing from 6-6:30 PM.
- The Book Fair Family Night is that evening. Join us for the Luau!
- The Strings Concert is at 7:00 PM.
- The PTA Meeting is at 7:15 PM
AND come early, the Flippin Pizza Truck will kick the whole thing off at 5:30 PM!
There are even rumors of ice cream floats…
We look forward to sharing all of this excitement with you!

Division A Competition Results
Congratulations, Forest Edge “Science Eagles!”
Our Science Olympiad teams earned 7 medals in their first-ever Division A competition on Saturday. Congratulations to all of our participants, and thanks to committee chairs Anita Ganjoo and Sameeria Bazaz – and the many parent volunteers – for their dedication to our students’ success!

Architecture in the Schools — Ms. Kowalski’s 5th Grade Students
FEES’ Advanced Academic Resource Students and Young Scholars teamed with SHWGROUP Architectural Firm. They discovered what is involved in the day to day operations of an architectural firm. The 5th Grade team focused on “How Architecture Changes Over Time”, with an emphasis on schools. Their “Modern School” will be on display at Ballston Common Mall in Arlingtonfrom May 1st until May 11th. Click here to read more.

We are looking for a few good men (and women) to help us host this wonderful event at Forest Edge ES. There are many different areas in which we need help.
